ABOUT ME

Dear Sweet Paper is a bespoke wedding and event stationery studio, specialising in beautifully considered, one-of-a-kind designs created entirely around each individual celebration.

With a lifelong love of creativity and design, Dear Sweet Paper began while I was planning my own wedding. What started with creating the details for my own day quickly developed into a passion for designing distinctive stationery that feels personal, considered and completely unique to each couple.

My youngest son was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition and requires lifelong care, which gave me an even greater reason to turn that passion into a career. Dear Sweet Paper has given me the flexibility to be there for him while building something I genuinely love.

Every piece is designed with an obsessive attention to detail, from the papers and typography to the smallest finishing touches. I don’t work from a one-size-fits-all approach; my bespoke service is about creating stationery that feels entirely yours.

From your first save the date to the final details on the day, my aim is to create pieces that become part of the story of your celebration — and that you’ll want to keep long after it is over.

Have a browse or get in touch to discuss creating something completely bespoke for your day.

BESPOKE DESIGN SERVICE

How it works

Bespoke design is a highly personal experience. Every piece is created exclusively for you — no templates, no repeats, simply original designs crafted with care.

I create bespoke stationery for weddings and special celebrations, with every detail considered to complement your individual style, setting and vision.

Your journey begins with a complimentary, no-obligation 1:1 design consultation, either by phone or video call. We’ll talk through your ideas, colour palette, venue, styling and any inspiration you’d like to incorporate. Following your consultation, I’ll create a detailed, personalised quotation for your stationery.

Once your booking is confirmed, I’ll begin developing your design and share initial concepts and video walkthroughs, allowing you to see your stationery come to life. We’ll refine the details together before your final design is prepared for approval.

Once approved, your stationery moves into production, where each piece is individually printed, finished and hand-crafted with meticulous attention to detail.

    terms & conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to orders placed with Dear Sweet Paper. By placing an order and making payment, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms.

    QUOTATIONS & PRICING

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.

As each bespoke order is individually designed, prices are based on the quantities, materials, finishes and requirements discussed at the time of quotation. Any subsequent changes to quantities, materials, design requirements or finishing details may result in a revised price.

Where quantities change, the individual unit price may also change.

    PAYMENTS

For bespoke order, a £100 deposit is required to secure your booking and begin the design process. This amount will be deducted from your total order value.

Once your final designs have been approved and you are ready to proceed to production, 50% of the remaining balance will become due.

The final outstanding balance must be paid in full before your order is dispatched or collected.

Payment may be made using the payment methods offered at the time of purchase, including debit/credit card, PayPal or Klarna where available.

    BESPOKE DESIGN & AMENDMENTS

Bespoke stationery is created specifically for you based upon the brief agreed during the design process.

Reasonable design amendments are included as part of the process. However, substantial changes to the original brief, repeated redesigns, additional concepts or changes requested after a design has been approved may incur an additional fee.

Any additional charges will be discussed and agreed with you before the additional work is undertaken.

    PROOFS & CLIENT APPROVAL

Proofs will be supplied for approval before your stationery enters production.

Please check your proofs very carefully. It is the client's responsibility to check all wording, spelling, grammar, names, dates, times, addresses, telephone numbers, menu choices, guest names and any other personalised information.

Once you provide approval of your final proof, it will be considered approved for production.

If an error appearing on an approved proof is discovered after production has begun, any reprinting or replacement costs may be payable by the client.

If any error has been introduced by Dear Sweet Paper after your final approval, or your finished stationery does not correspond with the approved design due to an error on my part, please contact me as soon as possible so that we can put this right.

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

    CLIENT INFORMATION & DEADLINES

It is the client's responsibility to provide all wording, guest names, menu choices, addresses and other information required to complete the order within the agreed timescales.

Delays in providing information, responding to proofs or approving designs may affect your agreed production and delivery timescale.

Where information or approval is received later than an agreed deadline, Dear Sweet Paper cannot guarantee the original completion date.

If expedited production or upgraded delivery becomes necessary as a result of information or approval being provided later, additional charges may apply. These will always be discussed with you before proceeding.

    CHANGES AFTER APPROVAL

Once a design has been approved and entered production, changes cannot always be accommodated.

Where a change is still possible, additional design, material, printing or production costs may apply.

Please therefore ensure that all details are completely correct before providing final approval.

    HANDMADE & NATURAL VARIATIONS

Many Dear Sweet Paper products are individually handmade and may incorporate materials such as textured or handmade papers, ribbons, wax seals, acrylic, embellishments and specialist print or finishing techniques.

Due to the nature of handmade production and different material batches, very slight variations in colour, texture, positioning, dimensions or finish may occur between individual pieces.

Colours displayed on screens may also difefr slightly from printed colours due to differences in screen settings and printing processes.

These natural variations form part of the character of handmade stationery and will not ordinarily be considered faults where the finished product remains materially consistent with the approved design.

    CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Many Dear Sweet Paper products are created to the client’s individual specifications or are clearly personalised. Such products may be exempt from the standard change-of-mind cancellation rights that otherwise apply to certain distance purchases.

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact Dear Sweet Paper as soon as possible.

Where work has already commenced or materials have been purchased specifically for your order, any refund will take into account the work reasonably completed and costs reasonably incurred up to the point of cancellation.

Once personalised goods have entered production, cancellation or change-of-mind refunds may no longer be possible.

This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise do not meet applicable legal requirements.

    PRODUCTION TIMESCALES

Estimated production times will be discussed when your order is placed.

Production times vary depending on the size and complexity of the order and begin once all required information, final approval and the applicable payment have been received.

Wedding and event dates should always be disclosed when placing an order.

Any estimated completion or dispatch date is based upon the information available at the time and the client’s compliance with agreed approval and information deadlines.

    RUSH ORDERS

Where availability allows, Dear Sweet Paper may be able to accommodate orders required sooner than the usual production timescale.

A rush fee may apply depending on the work required and the timescale available. Any rush fee will be confirmed before the order is accepted.

    DELIVERY

Orders will be dispatched to the delivery address supplied by the client once the applicable final payment has been received.

UK orders will normally be sent using a tracked delivery service, and tracking information will be provided where available.

Please ensure that your delivery address is complete and correct.

Occasionally, delivery providers may experience delays caused by circumstances outside Dear Sweet Paper’s reasonable control. If this occurs, we will assist you in tracking the parcel and resolving the issue where reasonably possible.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer law.

    INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

International orders are welcomed. Please contact Dear Sweet Paper for a personalised shipping quotation.

International delivery times vary depending on destination and customs processing.

The client is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and for any customs duties, import taxes or charges imposed by the destination country, where applicable and where disclosed as required by law.

Please allow additional time when ordering stationery for an overseas event.

    DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS

Please inspect your stationery as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If your order arrives damaged or you believe there is an error with your order, please contact Dear Sweet Paper promptly and provide photographs where appropriate so that the issue can be investigated and resolved.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

    PHOTOGRAPHY, SOCIAL MEDIA & WEBSITE

Dear Sweet Paper may photograph or film completed stationery for portfolio, website, social-media and promotional purposes.

Personal contact information and other private information will not knowingly be displayed publicly.

If you would prefer your stationery not to be shared publicly, please let us know in writing.

Where appropriate, publication may also be delayed until after your wedding or event to avoid revealing stationery before the occasion.

    INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All original designs, artwork, concepts and creative work produced by Dear Sweet Paper remain the intellectual property of Dear Sweet Paper unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Purchasing stationery does not transfer ownership of the underlying design or artwork to the client.

Designs may not be copied, reproduced, altered, resold or supplied to another stationery provider for reproduction without prior written permission.

    EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL

Dear Sweet Paper will not be responsible for a failure or delay caused by circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control.

Where such circumstances affect an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the impact.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful.

    COMPLAINTS

I take great care with every Dear Sweet Paper order and want you to be delighted with your finished stationery.

If you have any concerns about your order, please contact dearsweetpaper@gmail.com as soon as possible so that I can investigate and work with you towards an appropriate resolution.

    YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing contained within these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any rights that you have under UK consumer law.

Consumer goods must, among other things, be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

By placing an order with Dear Sweet Paper, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
